WEDDINGS
The Showgrounds provide an ideal venue for weddings with the Maurice Fletcher Memorial Hall able to cater for approximately 180 guests.
The Hall is situated within 2 km’s of 2 historical churches: St John’s Anglican Church (the very first in South Africa) and St John’s Methodist Church both built in the 1830’s.
The picturesque grounds allow an attractive background for photographs of the wedding party.
Safe parking for guests is a further attraction.
Further events well catered for by the Showgrounds are 21st Birthday parties, milestone birthday celebrations, anniversaries or any other excuse to have a celebration!

The Bathurst Ox-Braai is held on the Showgrounds with approximately 8,000 revelers attending the event each year in what has become the place to be seen amongst both young and not so young.
